Information we collect

Contact and enquiry details. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email, phone number (if provided), project type, and whatever you tell us about your project.

Payment and deposit information. If you proceed with a deposit, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — your card details are entered directly into Stripe's own secure checkout and never touch our servers or database. We only ever store the amount paid and Stripe's own reference IDs for that payment, which we use to charge a remaining balance or issue a refund later if needed.

Private client galleries. If you're a client with an active shoot, your gallery holds the photos or video from that shoot, your email address, and the selections you make. Galleries are private, access-locked behind a code, and automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after you're invited to view them or 30 days after delivery — whichever applies — unless you've asked us to archive it sooner.

AI-assisted features

Photo selection. Your private gallery includes an optional "Let AI choose the best ones" tool. If you use it, your proofing photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which suggests photos based purely on technical quality — sharpness, exposure, and open eyes — never posing or composition. It only ever pre-selects; nothing is submitted until you review and confirm your own final choices.

Receipt and invoice scanning. We use the same AI to read business receipts and invoices for our own bookkeeping. This doesn't involve client personal information.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, schedule and deliver projects, process deposits and payments, and send you updates about work you've booked with us. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

A few trusted service providers process data on our behalf, only as needed to run the site and deliver the service:

• Stripe — payment processing for deposits and balances.
• Resend — sending transactional emails (deposit confirmations, gallery invites, delivery notices).
• Supabase — secure hosting for gallery files and enquiry records.
• Google Analytics — aggregate traffic statistics (which pages get visited, roughly how people found the site).
• Google reCAPTCHA — bot protection on our forms and gallery sign-in. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
• Anthropic — the AI models behind the photo-selection tool described above.

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf. We don't sell any of this information, and we don't use advertising trackers on this site.

Cookies and local storage

This site uses Google Analytics to understand overall traffic — which pages get visited and roughly how people find the site. It sets a small number of anonymous cookies for this; we don't use it to identify you personally or for advertising, and we don't use any advertising cookies. reCAPTCHA sets its own cookie to distinguish humans from bots when you submit a form or sign into a gallery. A private gallery session uses your browser's local session storage only to keep you signed in to your own gallery while you browse it — this stays on your device and clears when you sign out or close the session.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you at any time — just email us. Gallery content is deleted automatically per the schedule above, but you're welcome to ask for earlier deletion.
